MINERAL MANAGEMENT

RAS, Inc. has prepared numerous title run sheets for examination by attorneys in rendering original and supplemental drillsite and division order title opinions. Our run sheets are meticulously organized to enable the examining attorney to efficiently review the chain of title, with supporting documents provided in either digital or hard copy formats. Clients receive digital, bookmarked files for easy storage and retrieval.

Title Curative Work:
We work closely with examining attorneys and our clients to resolve any defects discovered in the chain of title. Our team is highly skilled in preparing and obtaining accurate and complete curative documents to satisfy any title defects.

Expertise in Texas Railroad Commission Rule 76:

Our company is well-versed in the application of Texas Railroad Commission Rule 76, which permits surface owner developers to establish binding designated drill site areas with the Railroad Commission under specific conditions. Notably, our involvement in the Bridgeland project, one of the largest master-planned communities in Harris County, Texas, exemplifies our success in this area.

AUCTION & APPRAISALS

RAS, Inc. frequently represents clients at producing property auctions, providing comprehensive assistance in performing due diligence reviews prior to the auction, as well as facilitating funds transfer and document preparation.

Appraisals:
Our firm occasionally conducts appraisals of non-producing leases, minerals, and royalties. Our employees have also provided depositions regarding the valuation of these assets. Additionally, our company periodically contributes to the appraisal of producing properties.
